Roger Young

Roger’s work reflects a deep engagement with the beauty of everyday objects. Each of his paintings reveal a meticulous attention to detail and a very skilful portrayal of realism. Viewers are invited to appreciate the subtleties of light, texture and form. Roger sees beauty in small things….. a reflection bouncing off a glass or the surface markings on a piece of fruit. Viewing his paintings often invokes a sense of quiet reflection and serenity. Roger’s work is very popular and he has sold work all over the UK, USA, New Zealand and Europe. He paints full time from his studio in Flintshire.

Showcasing the unpredictability and rawness of the land and sea, Colin’s bold, richly textured technique captures both the serenity and the intensity of nature, from the crashing waves of the Gower Peninsular to the majestic drama and moody beauty of the windswept peaks of Bannau Brycheiniog.
