Dave is a professional artist who specializes in pastel landscape paintings of North Wales. He is the owner of Oriel Glasfryn Gallery and an extensive selection of his original paintings and prints is on permanent display.
He can often be found amongst the mountains at sunrise or sunset, capturing the dramatic light that is so important to his paintings.
Dave’s work is the antithesis of how most people would imagine a pastel painting to be. It is detailed and bold with a strong emphasis on contrast and the use of intense tones. Commentators appreciate the almost photorealistic nature of his work.
Dave was elected as a member of The Pastel Society in 2024.
