John is a glassblower and beekeeper and infuses the honey from his native Welsh Black bees into his glass. There is a natural synergy between glassblowing and beekeeping, from the flowing movements required of the glassblower and the beekeeper to the natural flowing movement of the glass and the honey. John likes to experiment with different infusions into the glass and uses a variety of table sauces in his infusions.John isconcerned about mankind’s impact upon the natural environment, climate change and the plastic in our oceans, which has inspired his latest body of work of sea and skyscapes.
